How to get ASCII output of defined polygons.

Description:
After creating and saving a polygon path in Basemap, is there a way to get an
ASCII output of the XY points of the path?

Solution:
There is no direct way to do this.

Define a fault trace drawn over the top of the polygon, and then output
the fault trace into an ASCII file. 

1.) Export the fault traces using DataManager > Interpretation > Export.

2.) Choose an export format (either ftr.ifdf for feet or ftrm.ifdf for meters).
 
3.) Select the horizon and the faults which are to be exported.
 
4.) Enter a file name, or full path and file name.
    If only file name is entered then it will be written to users home 
    directory.
