How to create a well set using the Query tool.
Description:
The main objective is to create a borehole set which contains all boreholes in the database with a specific attribute. Example: All boreholes that contain a gamma ray curve.
Solution:
In Basemap: 1.) Define > Boreholes > Manage Borehole Sets. 2.) In the Manage Borehole Sets menu, click on the Query Tool "crystal ball". 3.) In the Query Tool menu, under Find Borehole, activate the first radio button. 4.) Set the toggle to the far right of the radio button to "containing", and click on the down arrow just below to bring up a list. From this list, select 'Log_curve'. 5.) Then activate the next radio button, and toggle the box next to it to read "with Measurement". Click on the down arrow just below, to bring up a list. From this list, select "APIGammaRay". 6.) Click OK, the Query Tool menu will disappear, and the Boreholes in Borehole Set box will automatically be populated with all boreholes containing a gamma ray curve. 7.) Enter a name and description for the Borehole Set, click on 'Create', then click on 'Close'.
