How to Surface Cut a grid back to a new horizon.

Description:
After gridding a horizon in Basemap Plus on a 3d survey, how do I copy the horizon grid back to a IESX horizon to be viewed in Seis3DV/2DV.

Solution:
1. Post and grid Horizon. 2. Basemap Plus > Gridding > Save as... > Create new surface... > - Select Name box, type in horizon name under Surface Information. - Select Type box and toggle under New Sufaces "Type" to Seismic horizon. - Select Color box and select color palette icon, select color. - Source and Description are optional. If source is not specified, GFDM (GeoFrame Data Manager) will be inserted. - Select Apply, then OK. 3. Still in Basemap Plus > Save As > - Type in Grid name and description (optional). - Select new Output surface, then select OK. 4. Data Manager > Interpretation > Surface... - Select survey in Define area. - Select surface (select new surface name from step 2). - Toggle Transfer mode to Surface grid => Horizon attribute. - Select Grid (select new grid name from step 3). - Type in attribute name (TIME)<<< has to be uppercase or will not work! - Select OK.
