How to add a new disk or tape drive to IESX 10.X.

Description:

Solution:
1.)  IESX Session Manager > Administration > Configuration
     Enter IESX Administrator password.

2.) Select Workstation configuration from the menu.

    Device name        : Identifier for DSL or tape
    Device description : Optional
    Device             : Toggle to 'Tape' or 'Fixed disk'
    Device value       : Full path name

3.) Add 

    When adding a tape device :
    Host name   :  Host name of machine where tape drive resides
    Type        :  Select '9 Track' for exabyte

The devices will now be available to assign as DSLs or to use as tape devices.

'Update' can be used to update the Device description or Device value but not
the Device name.  To change the Device name, 'Delete' and reconfigure.

Note:  To find the host name for the device, log in to the machine the tape
       is physically connected to, and type "uname -a" at the prompt.
       The second field in the output is the host name.
