How to set the colorbar to have min/max amp on left/right side of colorbar
Description:
How to set the colorbar so that the real amplitude minimum and maximum, as shown
in DataManager > Seismic > Report uses the entire color scale
Solution:
Define > Display Specifications > Gain control
Type = User
Will take values entered by the user in User Min and User Max as the
'Reference Values' (RV).
Source = Trace
RV's will be calculated for each trace and scaled on a trace by trace basis.
NB : This is the only option available for use with Type = User,regardless of
which option is selected.
Amplitude = 400
This is the value at which the RV is placed on the spectrum.
If Amplitude is set to 400 the RV will be placed at the ends of the colour
spectrum.If we use Amplitude = 100 only 1/4 of the color spectrum would be
used.The RV's would be placed at 1/4 of the distance from the centre of the
spectrum and as min max values are definitive no other values would be using
the rest of the spectrum.
Zero Reference - The value at the centre of the spectrum.
If spectrum is not balanced user may want to change zero reference.
User min and User max = min and max amplitudes
Although values can be typed in here at any time they will only be used in
conjunction with type 'User'
