How to retain a working copy of an IESX 10px project and upgrade it to GeoFrame.
Description:
Solution:
A) Run the project rename utility to create a copy of the IESX project. 1) Create a new project in IESX with the same number of DSLs as the original project. 2) UNIX copy over ALL files to the new DSLs. The files from the original home project DSL must be copied to the new home project DSL. The files from the original seismic DSLs must be copied to the new seismic DSLs and so on. 3) Select project_rename.csh from the Application Selection menu and click Start. 4) Enter the new project name, full path for new home DSL, old project name, and OK to continue(yes/no). 5) Upon completion, 2 copies of the project will exist. Note: This operation does not retain shared volume information. B) Upgrade one of the IESX projects into GeoFrame using the Upgrade utility available from Geonet > GeoFrame 3.1 > Upgrade IESX 10px Project. For IESX 10px project preparation prior to upgrade consult: Search Type: How to Product: IESX Version: GeoFrame3.0 Application: Project Upgrade
