Topic:
How to display more than one log curve on my synthetic layout.
Description:
By default, when opening the synthetics application, the log track only displays the sonic log. How can you display multiple log curves in the log track, and/or how can you add additional log tracks to the layout?
Solution:
To display multiple log curves in a log track: In the log track of the synthetic layout, click MB3/Content. The 'Log track contents' menu will open. Select the desired curve(s) from the 'Available curves' list and click the 'Ok' button. The menu will disappear and the newly selected curves will display in the log track. To add additional log tracks to a layout: In the synthetics menu, click File > Layout. The 'Layout appearance defintion' menu will open. Select the desired layout from the 'Available layouts' list. At the bottom left of the menu, click MB1 on 'Log' in the 'Available types' list, and click either 'Top' or 'Bottom' to put the log track to the left or the right of the synthetic layout. To 'Place' the log track elsewhere, after selecting 'Log' from the 'Available types' list, click MB1 on a track in the 'Selected types' list, then click the 'Place' button. The log track will then appear above the track selected in the 'Selected types' menu, and therefore, display to the left of that track in the synthetics layout. After adding additional log track(s), click the 'Update' button at the bottom of the menu, and then the 'Activate' button to redisplay the synthetic menu with the changes.
