How to load an XYZ file from Landmark into IESX

Description:
Zycor grids must be brought into Mapview using the external card file for grid or XYZ's . Once gridded and saved in Mapview this surface can be made available in IESX.

Solution:
An external ASCII XYZ file may be in a User format, but must contain MapView header cards which describe the data format. External ASCII Grid and Contour files must be in MapView's internal format. Please refer to IESX Online Help for detailed information on Mapview ASCII formats. Geonet > IESX > Help > Surface Modelling page 219 ASCII XYZ example: The following example is from a card file for a horizon called MAPVIEW that contains 3036 data points. The data Z values are time in ms. and the X,Y location data is in feet.
