Snapping suggestions

Description:
You would like the horizon to stay where you draw it.

Solution:
There are two options that you can use. They are as follows: 1. Use MB3>Override instead of MB3>Break. The problem with this is it only saves the points you click and not the ones in between (that is what the snap does). If you ever output the horizon, only the points you picked with MB1 are output. 2. Under Define>Horizon, set the Snap type to None and then use MB3>Break. This will create horizon points at every trace between the points picked by you. If the horizon is output, you will get a more complete set of points output. Note: If the horizons being picked are steeply dipping, the horizons may break into segments. If you set the Tracking for the horizon to a larger time window, like 36, it will allow you to draw steeply dipping horizons without breaking up. One can go to an 80 degree slope with windows of 36 ms.
