How to create a DT curve from a resistivity curve.

In LPView:
#5) Change Default well
Set this to the well you want to work on by either clicking on it with
MB1 or use the down arrow to it and hit enter. Then exit.
#2) Log Preparation ->
#5) compute pseudo log
Next a list of the conversion types come up.
Pick the appropriate conversion.
In this case #5 or #6
1) parameters
Here the defaults are set to the full depth of
the log. You can leave them and exit, or edit
them to your desired setting.
2) Change Curves
If you have more than one resistivity curve
select the one you want to compute from here.
If you only have one, it will default to it.
3) Compute/Display
This will post both your resistivity curve and
your new DT curve. If you like it choose:
5) Save Data then 1) Save Data
Hit enter to accept or press Q to avoid
saving the well.
Note:
In this example when you go to save the log it will save it as
DT from RES.
