How to add a user to IES.

Solution:
If this is the first time IES will be used at your site, you will need to add
"user root" directories.  To add user root directories, consult:
       Search Type- How to
       Application- Project Converter
       Version- 10p2
       Synopsis- How to add to add a directory to IES where users can create
                 projects and store data.


To add a user:

1) From Geonet, click on IES> IES Xterm.

2) In the IES Xterm, type source /home/gqs/setup_ies.  This will return: 
   IESINIT...OK

3) In the IES Xterm, type iescon.

4) In iescon, select:  1. User configuration>  2. Add an IES user>, then supply
   the operating system user name (the user's login id), IES name, password and
   description, the software release information, then EXIT.

5) Next, select the location(s) where the new user may store project data, 
   and Exit. (You must give at least one storage location or else the user
   will not be added.)

6) Exit iescon
