How to annotate depth along borehole.
Description:
I would like to be able to annotate every 1000 feet for deep holes and when I am
zoomed out, but every 100 feet when zoomed in.
Solution:
The GeoFrame 3.1.4 borehole display parameters do not provide this annotation
functionality, however, by generating markers at regular intervals and assigning
them various sources you can obtain the desired depth interval "annotation".
For example, define markers for the desired boreholes at 100 foot intervals and
assign these markers to the source group cent_feet. Place your 1000 foot
interval markers in the source group mill_feet. Use color to differentiate
between the two source groups in case they will be posted together. You can
then toggle on/off posting of the markers by using the source selection in
Define > Borehole Appearance > Vertical.
