How to determine line, cdp, X & Y corner points for irregular shaped surveys.
Description:
User loaded an irregular shaped 3d survey.
Now they want to determine what the inline, cdp, X & Y corner points are
for the live data. Basemap only shows the rectangular survey which includes the padded traces.
Solution:
Generate a timeslice over the survey over a time interval that is known
to have full coverage of the live data.
Post a timeslice in Seis%dv window and you should be able to determine where
the live data ends and the padding begins through the color contrast.
Change the readout boxes at the lower right so that inline, cdp , X & Y
values are being displayed. Zoom in on the corner points and move the cursor
to a corner point and get the information from the readout boxes.
