How to move synthetic data between IESX 10.x projects.

Solution:
In the source project: 1. Be sure the synthetic trace has been saved in the Synthetics application 2. DataManager->Wells->Export - opens the Synthetic Export window. 3. Select the Well Set, Well, and Synthetic class 4. Set the toggle next to Export to disk file 5. Enter a path for the output file 6. Select either ASCII or SEG-Y 7. Export In the destination project: If the synthetic was exported as SEG-Y: 1. DataManager->Seismic->Load Seismic - opens the Load seismic trace data window 2. Set the Loading mode toggle to SEGY synthetic 3. Click the Define storage. . . button and set the well and class (click OK) 4. Click the Define input format. . . button and set the parameters as desired, enter the path to the SEG_Y file you exported (click OK) 5. Click OK (in the Load seismic trace data window) If the synthetic was exported as ASCII: 1. DataManager->Wells->Load wells 2. Set index etc. parameters for current data and project 3. Enter the path to the ASCII file you exported 4. Only toggle on the Synthetics button for Data to load 5. Click the View button at the bottom of the window (optional) 6. Click the Load button at the bottom of the window
