How to limit the data posted in Basemap to a restricted area?

Description:

Solution:
In Basemap, click the Edit menu and select Area of Interest.  Click MB1 while
moving the pointer to define a polygon that encloses the data area you wish
to display.  When finished, click MB3 to save the defined polygon as a named
Area of Interest (AOI).  The defined AOI is automatically posted and only
data within the polygon is posted.  Use Basemap > Post > interpretation > Area
of Interest... to toggle AOI posting on/off, to select among defined AOIs,
and to customize the polygon's display characteristics.
