How to remove the turning point lines from a traverse.
Description:
Users wishing to remove the vertical turning point lines from a traverse
displayed in Seis3DV/2DV currently can not do it.
Either by removing all annotaion ("A" at the bottom of Seis%dv).
Or by using Define > Annotaion > Vertical trace labeling > label type = Turn pt,
and setting the label accent=none.
Solution:
This is a known bug in GeoFrame 3.7.
It is not possible to remove the turn-point lines from the traverse display.
Work Around :
Create a 2d line from the traverse which does not post turning points.
1. Create the traverse in Basemap, and save it to a name using MB3 => Save.
2. Generate the 2d line.
Session Manager - Application - Data Manager - Seismic - Generate 2d -
select the traverse, select the class, select the output survey.
Give the new line a name then click Generate.
Additionally, this 2d line can be exported for use in other projects.
