How to delete interpolated fault interpretation without deleting the seed picks.
Description:
Solution:
You cannot delete interpolated faults without deleting the seed picks.
Although horizons have an origin type of Basemap interpolated
and can be deleted based on origin type, faults do not have any origin type
and therefore can not be deleted this way.
If a fault is selected for deletion
under Data Manager -> Interpretation -> Delete
the ENTIRE fault will be deleted.
Fault deletion mode disregards the origin type under interpretation delete.
Note:
In order to retain the original interpretation for a fault,
a copy needs to be made prior to fault interpolation.
