How to apply a bulk shift to the checkshot.

You can apply a bulk shift and save this as a new checkshot.


Solution:
You can bulk shift the checkshot in the Synthetics module. In the synthetics module go to Tools => velocity survey. 1. Click on select checkshot and select the checkshot you want to use to create the new bulk shifted checkshot. The checkshot will display in the panel. 2. Click on the 'parameters' button. In the 'Checkshot shift 2 way ms' box type in the value of the shift required in milliseconds. Click OK - the checkshot with the shift will show up as a second curve in the display panel. 3. Click on Save Data. - A checkshot name (default name) will be put in the name box : change it as required. - Turn on the radio button next to Save edited checkshot. - You have choice on how to apply the bulk shift a) shift samples b) change velocity c) no shift Toggle the button to the appropriate method and click on 'Save'. This will create a new checkshot under the borehole you have selected for the synthetic display.
