Topic:
How to transfer Borehole Sets between GeoFrame projects.
Description:
The horizon origin attribute indicates how the Z attribute picks were made. The
five types of interpretation origins are :
1) Seismic Interpretation
2) Surface Slice
3) Basemap Interpolated
4) Autopicked
5) Unknown
In some situations, for example when making multiple passes during autopicking,
it may be advantageous to change the interpretation origin.
Solution:
1) Make sure the borehole data in the Borehole Set already exists in the
destination project. If not, transfer the boreholes first using Data Copier
in the General Data Manager. Refer to Knowledge Base entry "How to copy
wells and boreholes from one GeoFrame project to another".
2) In General Data Manager, expand the source project by 'Collection'. The
borehole sets are now listed and if highlighted can be transferred to another
project by clicking the 'Export Data to selected Project' button in the Data
Copier menu.
Note: If a borehole set with the same name already exists in the destination
project, a duplicate borehole set name will be created. You may want to rename
this to avoid any confusion during borehole posting.
