How to edit scatter set points in Basemap Plus.
Description:
It may be desirable to delete a few or several scatter set points from a set
before regridding in Basemap Plus.
Solution:
Post the Scatter Set on the basemap:
1) Post>Interpretation>Scatter Set.
Select the Model Editor to edit Scatter Set points:
1) Gridding>Model Editor
2) When the Model Editor window opens, choose the Scatter Set for editing.
3) Click on .
The Scatter Set can now be edited.
1) Add scatter points by selecting "Enter" from the control window. The current
mode will be grayed out on the MB3 menu. Move the cursor to the point
on the basemap to be added. You can set or assign a value to the
scatter points.
2) Scatter Set points can be deleted in "Point" or "Polygon" mode.
3) Scatter Set values can be changed by selecting points in the "Point" or
"Polygon" mode entering a Z value, and clicking on the "Set Z Value"
button.
4) Scatter Set edits are temporary until you perform "Save" or Save As" or click
on "Done" using MB3.
5) To remove unsaved created Scatter Set points:
A) Select "Clear" from the MB3 menu. The "Undo All" option is now
available. "Undo All" will clear all edits since the last save.
B) Select "Set Z Value" on the control window. This will highlight the
options on the control window and the "Undo Last" option on the
MB3 menu. The "Undo Last" option is active when a Z value
other than is set in the control window. If a Z
value is set, the last point entered will be removed from the
basemap by clicking on the "Undo Last" option. If the Z value
is , the "Undo Last" option has no impact on the
display.
