How to send Boreholes using the exclusion polygon option

Description:
When selecting wells for deletion, it can be more convenient to select wells by using an exclusion polygon. The process varies from what is described in the GeoFrame Bookshelf.

Solution:
The exclusion polygon is not an available option until an inclusion polygon is created. Once the inclusion polygon is created the exclusion polygon button is selected, created, and then the wells broadcast to the Borehole Data Manager. To properly use the exclusion polygon: 1) Post all boreholes on the basemap. Close the ITC door. 2) Open the Wells and Borehole Data Manager. From Basemap, select User > GeoFrame Data Managers > Borehole. Be sure the ITC door is open. 3) In Basemap select Send > Boreholes. 4) Click on MB3/control, select the "Inclusion Polygon" option. 5) Create the inclusion polygon and click on MB3/Break (NOTE: If the broadcast door is open on both the Basemap and Borehole Data Manager windows, the boreholes will be sent and the "Exclusion Polygon" option will not function.) 6) MB3/Control select the "Exclusion Polygon" option. 7) Create the exclusion polygon and click on MB3/Break. The wells inside the polygon will be "deselected". 8) Open the closed ITC door on Basemap. 9) Broadcast the boreholes to the Borehole Data Manager. Unlike with the inclusion polygon, MB3/Break will not send the boreholes to the Borehole Data Manager. MB3/Send will not send the boreholes once the deselection has been made with the "Exclusion Polygon". The "Broadcast" icon must be used.
