Topic:
How to display data from two surveys continuously using a composite traverse.

Description:
The only way to display data from two surveys in one continuous section is to use a composite traverse. This data could be any combination of 2D or 3D data.

Solution:
1. BaseMap Plus > Edit > Seismic Traverse Path > Composite. 2. Use mouse button one (MB1) to digitize points. 3. To pick a section on the next survey, you must be on that survey, so click once near the edge of survey_1, then click just on the inside of survey_2. Tips: a. For overlapping surveys, the order in which the 3D and 2D surveys are displayed on basemap is essential. If you have trouble during the picking process use Control and change the precedence order of the surveys. The survey that the traverse ends in should be on top. b. If a composite involving 2D and 3D lines is required, be sure the seismic task is not for Seis3DV only .
