Topic:
Change log trace scaling from linear to semi-log for curves in Seis3DV/2DV display.

Description:
        

Solution:
 
1) In the Seis3DV/2DV window, select the Borehole Appearance Set the log is   
   currently displayed with using:  Define> Borehole Appearance... > Vertical, 
   then click on the appearance file.

2)  Now click on the "Curve Options" button, and the "Log Curve Selection" 
    dialog box will pop up.

3) Select the curve whose scaling you want to change, toggle the Data Scaling
   option at the bottom of the menu from Linear to Semilog, then click Close.

4) Type in a new Name and Description for the new appearance set, then click
   Create, then Close.

5) Post the borehole with the log you want displayed in semilog scaling using
   Post> Boreholes>, select the Borehole Set you want to post, and the new
   Borehole Appearance Set, then move the combination to the bottom box with the
   down arrow.
