How to load synthetics in SEG-Y format in GeoFrame 3.8.
Description:
The procedure has been significantly simplified in GeoFrame 3.8.
Solution:
Procedure:
1. IESX Session Manager > Data Manager > Seismic/Load Seismic...
2. Load Seismic Trace Data window > Loading Mode > toggle SEG-Y synthetic option
> Define Storage...
3. Define SEG-Y synthetic seismic storage parameters > type in Log name and
Select borehole. OK.
4. Load Seismic Trace Data window > Define Input Format...
5. Define SEG-Y synthetic input data format window > Data format
> toggle one of the IBM 8, 16, or 32 bit format options
> Set Data source to Tape or File.
> Click OK.
(If from Tape, be sure to select the proper device back on the Load
seismic trace data window at Tape drive...)
6. Load seismic trace data window > Load...
