![]() (2) The night shift at a depth of 1154 feet, presumably in Blue Mesa Member. |
The Blue
Mesa Member and the overlying Sonsela share many similar lithologies,
as do the Blue Mesa and the underlying Mesa Redondo. The overarching
distinction is that the Sonsela has more sands, and the Mesa Redonda
more red fine sand and mottled strata. At this point it will require
cleaned core to make a precise call on these member boundaries. |
