CalNex: Research at the Nexus of Air Quality and Climate Change
2010

Extensive air quality campaign based in California in summer 2010. We worked aboard the NOAA-P3 to measure greenhouse gases and the R/V Atlantis from San Diego measuring OCS.
I travelled to San Diego to help researchers from Aerodyne Research setup a QCL instrument to measure OCS on the R/V Atlantis, which had come over from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Analysis of this data was finally published in 2013.
I then went to Ontario, CA to help run the Harvard QCL instrument to measure CO2, CO, N2O, CH4 on the NOAA P3 research aircraft called Miss Piggy.
