Comparative analyses of high spatial resolution (2.8 m) urban vegetation

distributions in Cairo, Cuzco, Istanbul, Los Angeles, New York and Rio de Janeiro

show consistencies and variations in patch size distributions and connectedness. 

Combining high resolution Spectral Mixture Analysis with image segmentation

allows size and spatial distributions to be quantified simultaneously.  Details in:
