A couple of weeks ago you received an email from Robin Bell with the subject line "ADVANCE: CU Work Environment Survey" - the email points you to the web site
http://library.cpmc.columbia.edu/cere/cu/en/login.cfm
which is a survey, being carried out under the auspices of the NSF funded ADVANCE program, of the working environment here - please take a few moments and complete this survey - it is important. You can leave blanks for questions you do not wish to answer, but please fill out as much as you can.

Last Sunday's public lecture was another grand success - thanks to Art Lerner-Lam's excellent presentation on the Sumatran earthquake, an auditorium packed with interested folks and a particularly well-attended dinner for special guests.

Enjoy the long weekend - summer is here. Once we get past the June 1 proposal deadline, August 15 will be here before we know it...
