Animation of the 4D differences of a
Trichloroethylene spill in a series of 19 GPR sets covering 340 Hours
The data are 500 MHz Ground Penetrating Radar data collected during an intentional spill of Tetrachloroethylene at Canadian Forces Base Borden in 1991.
The data were collected and have been published by a group from the University of Waterloo - see Brewster and Annan (Geophysics, August 1994) or Brewster et al. (Ground Water, Nov/dec 1995) for a description of this experiment.
The data were retrieved from the CD -Rom published by the USGS (500 MHz Ground Penetrating Radar data collected during an intentional spill of Tetarchloroethyle at Canadian Forces Base Borden in 1991 - DDS-25) by Kathleen Sander and Gary Olhoeft )
The data were analyzed using Lamont 4D by Roelof Versteeg (Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory)
Data Information
Data were collected on 8 NS and 8 EW lines (numbered N0 to N7 and E0 to E7, spaced 1 m. apart. The spill was in the middle of the lines,between lines N3 and N4 and E3 and E4. Measurements took place at 0, 5, 14, 22, 34, 48, 66, 90, 101, 126, 150, 174, 198, 222, 236, 270,294, 318 and 340 hours after the spill.
