Greetings LDEO Alumni!
I hope this letter finds you well; 2020 has certainly been a tough year. I’m so proud of how the Observatory has weathered the pandemic: putting on a virtual Open House, organizing several excellent virtual events throughout the year, and most of all – keeping the Earth research coming.
I am hopeful that despite the ongoing pandemic, the LDEO Alumni Association can keep working on its mission to engage alumni, help current graduate students, and support the mission of the Observatory. I am especially interested in organizing a career panel event in the new year, and I am looking forward to hosting our annual “Superstar” Alumni speaker events in Spring 2021.
If you would like to get involved in either of these activities, or if you can envision some other way you can advance the mission of the Alumni Association, please let me know – and thanks.
Please contact me or Stacey Vassallo in the Development Office if there are additional features you'd like to find here on our website.
Have a happy New Year!
Regards,
E. Christa Farmer (Ph.D. 2005)
